Honorable Mention: "The Face of Smallpox" by Joanne Katz. “I took this in November 2006. This woman was in a village in which we were working in rural southern Nepal. I focused on her because of the pox marks on her face, which are unusual to see these days. They can only be found on people of a certain age, because smallpox was eradicated so many years ago.” --Joanne Katz
