A Poem for Uncle John

Hung-Hung LiHung-Hung Li

Thanks for being important part of my childhood.
I remember your handsome looks, your dashing suits.
I remember your special laugh.
Your generosity with gifts.
Mom always said you were smart and sharp.
You everyone admired.
Sorry you had to struggle and suffer much.
Glad to see you succeed in stability.
What a wonderful great family.
What more can one ask but to love and be loved.
Thanks for telling me to be strong and hold on.
Thanks for lifting my spirits when I was down.
Thanks for the memories that we shared.
Your words telling me you cared.
I know you can rest in peace now.
Somehow we'll stay in touch.
